As part of the procurement strategy for the construction of Hinkley Point C, EDF set up a partnership with the Somerset Chamber of Commerce in 2010 to form the Hinkley Supply Chain to support the South West regional supply chain. The team is here to help grow and support businesses across the South West and South Wales. We do this by helping companies to win contracts on Europe’s biggest construction site and ensuring local companies benefit from the long-term opportunities on offer. In 2017 the Hinkley Supply Chain Programme was formed with funding from EDF, two (the Heart of the South West and the West of England) Local Enterprise Partnerships and the Welsh Government.  Working as a team, the Programme partners have many years of collective experience and has specialist team members from the Somerset Chamber of Commerce, SWMAS and Business West.
