We are an experienced international practice having worked in the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, North & South Africa, MENA, Canada, Russian Federation.

We are experienced and skilled in contract interpretation and management for the standard forms such as FIDIC, NEC, ICE / ICC, JCT, IchemE and bespoke variations, having advised and represented Employers, Consultants, Contractors, Subcontractors and suppliers.

The core business disciplines are commercial, contract and project management.  We have a number of senior consultants who are highly skilled in Quantity Surveying, Project Controls, Contract Management, Project Planning, early project review, change management & entitlement claims.

We have developed a highly sophisticated Programme Analysis System for review of contract programmes, which can quickly identify potential delay events allowing early warning and risk meetings to be instigated and we can then run “but for” or “what if” alternative scenarios.

If we are engaged at the outset or during the concurrency of the project we will initially review the contractual obligations in regard to programming and project delivery, review the baseline schedule and monthly update schedules; carry out Schedule integrity checks & Schedule integration; produce periodic review of progress (as agreed – this can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly); Identify culpability for delays; conduct Monthly forensic delay analysis & delay mapping; analyse for culpability and concurrency; review and analyse disruption and produce a monthly programme summary including delays and general health of the project.

As we advocate resource loading and cost / value loading, we can provide our client with a highly sophisticated management tool via the programme, as intended, which allows change management, earned value and loss & expense to be readily calculated.

We also have backroom BIM capability and are able to carry out 4D (time) & 5D (cost / value) analysis and we are currently working to develop Drone survey capability for the UK market.

For ease of presentation and negotiation, we can provide a visualisation service which will be bespoke to the project and include a short time lapse video and commentary.

Several consultants are experienced expert witnesses (Time, Quantum, engineering, architectural), dual qualified (surveyors & non – practising barrister) and / or accredited ADR practitioners.  We are therefore able to support the project by advising upon dispute avoidance and negotiation, escalation to senior representatives, or Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) including adjudication, mediation, arbitration & expert determination. We can also assist  with project or company recovery and aged debts.
